Lights and Sirens International Once Again Bring Joy and Happiness to Kids in Dominican Republic
Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic- Once again the Lights & Sirens International Foundation returns for the fifteenth time to the city of Puerto Plata, to fill hundreds of low-income boys and girls with joy and satisfaction, with the delivery of toys and basketballs, On this occasion, the Gregorio Luperón sports club and the Fabio Rafael González basketball pavilion of this tourist city served as the stage.
Lights & Sirens International Foundation was accompanied by the former Dominican NBA resident in the city of Santiago, Luis Felipe López, who in addition to serving as an interpreter also has a foundation that helps and contributes to children from Santiago and nearby regions.
It should be noted that Lights & Sirens, chaired by the athlete Ibn-Hashim Bakari, is not the first time that he has made this type of delivery to boys and girls of this Atlantic city. He has also made special deliveries to the Nazareth house, which houses boys and girls to whom it offers assistance, because they suffer from various physical problems, which need attention and dedication of special care.
The Foundation has also delivered toys on several occasions to the Tato Martínez sports league, in the Gregorio Luperón general urbanization in this province.
Lights & Sirens International is a non-profit foundation from the United States chaired by Ibn-Hashim Bakari, who fell in love with Puerto Plata from the moment he first arrived in this city.
This is the fifteenth time that Lights & Sirens International has visited Dominican Republic, accompanied by a large delegation of state and city police and firefighters from Rhode Island, who come to complete this humanitarian trip while getting a cross-cultural experience.
