AttendanceMattersRI: Governor McKee, Commissioner Infante-Green Recognize Weekly Attendance Leaders and Improved Schools
Week of March 24, 2024
PROVIDENCE, RI – Acknowledging the importance of consistent attendance in education and in alignment with the #AttendanceMatters campaign, Governor Dan McKee and Commissioner
The following schools are Rhode Island’s attendance leaders for the week of March 24, 2024*:
- Elementary: Charlestown Elementary School, Chariho Regional School District – 96.7%
- Middle: Scituate Middle School – 95.4%
- High: East Greenwich High School – 96%
Special recognition is extended to the following schools for demonstrating the most improved average attendance rates from the previous week:
- Elementary: Oakland Beach Elementary School, Warwick – 5.4%
- Middle: Kickemuit Middle School, Bristol Warren Regional School District – 2.3%
- High: Woonsocket High School – 2.2%
