Governor Dan McKee, First Lady Susan McKee Host Earth Day Event, Litter Cleanup in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, RI – Governor Dan McKee and First Lady Susan McKee hosted an Earth Day event to highlight the latest efforts of their Litter-Free Rhode Island initiative. During the event, the Governor and First Lady will also announce the recipients of the Department of Environmental Management’s Litter-Free Rhode Island micro-grant program. Additionally, the Governor will sign an Earth Day proclamation highlighting the State’s commitment to Keep Rhody Litter-Free. Following the event, participants will take part in an Earth Day cleanup at Middletown High School.
