 Treasurer Diossa, Fidelity & Navigant Credit Union To Launch Financial Capabilities Consortium Pilot Program At Calcutt Middle School

On Monday, February 3rd at 9:30 AM at Calcutt Middle School in Central Falls, General Treasurer James Diossa will join with local banking and financial services leaders and Calcutt 8th graders and their families to launch the Financial Capabilities Consortium Pilot Program. The new community-based program is designed to provide urban core students and their families with a combination of in-classroom financial literacy coursework and real-world exposure to local banking and financial services businesses.

The General Treasurer James Diossa will be joined by the Mayor of Central Falls, Maria Rivera, Angélica Infante-Green, RI Commissioner of Education, Kathleen Orovitz, President & CEO, Navigant Credit Union and Rick Metters, Vice President of RI Regional Public Affairs, Fidelity Investments.
