Treasurer Diossa to Celebrate Financial Literacy Month

Providence, RI – On, Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Rhode Island State House, General Treasurer James A. Diossa will celebrate financial literacy month. This event will highlight ongoing financial literacy initiatives in the state, recognize champions in the field, and feature firsthand stories from educators and students currently participating in the Treasurer’s Financial Capability Consortium Pilot Program.

This event will take place at the Governor’s State Room and the Treasurer Diossa will be joined by Governor Daniel J. McKee, Speaker of the House K. Joseph Shekarchi, Navigant Credit Union and Students from the Financial Literacy Pilot Program at Calcutt Middle School.
