Foulkes Blasts McKee Over IT Failure Affecting State Workers’ Pay
Providence, RI — Helena Buonanno Foulkes released a statement following reporting that the McKee administration is asking state workers to determine how much they are owed in wages from the State’s botched Enterprise Resource Planning System rollout:
“Due to the pattern of incompetence of the McKee administration, more than a thousand state workers have not received their full paycheck since December and the administration cannot even figure out how much they are owed. To make matters worse, employees are now being tasked with calculating how much of their own pay they are missing,” said Helena. “Our state workers deserve their full paychecks, on time, and should not be facing financial stress and insecurity because Governor McKee has failed to lead.”
