PAWTUCKET, RI – The City of Pawtucket invites residents to participate in its 2026 Community Meetings, hosted by Mayor Donald R. Grebien and city officials. These meetings aim to foster open dialogue and meaningful community engagement. Scheduled in each city district, the meetings will give residents the opportunity to meet with city leaders, ask questions, and discuss priorities to keep the city moving forward.
Mayor Grebien has invited the following departments to take part in the meetings:
·       Mayor’s Office
·       Public Safety (Police, Fire, EMA)
·       Commerce, Planning and Zoning
·       Finance and Tax Assessor
·       Public Works
·       Library
·       Senior Center
·       Parks and Recreation
All neighborhood meetings will follow the same format, allowing residents and constituents to discuss issues directly with department heads in a focused and conversational setting.
“These community meetings give residents a direct opportunity to connect with City leadership, ask questions, and share their ideas,” said Mayor Grebien. “Whether it’s addressing a specific concern or offering feedback on the many projects and initiatives underway across Pawtucket, these conversations help guide our work. Community input is essential as we continue building on the strong momentum, moving our city forward in 2026.”
