Council President Rachel Miller and Deputy Majority Leader Mary Kay Harris to Make Affordable Housing Announcement
Providence, RI – On Wednesday, April 1st, Council President Rachel Miller and Deputy Majority Leader Mary Kay Harris will announce new legislation that will eliminate a significant barrier to the construction of affordable housing. The proposed legislation is the latest in a long series of actions the Council has taken to address the housing crisis.
The press conference will take place at 500 Broad Street at 11:30 a.m. and feature affordable housing developers and community partners.
