PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Today, the Rhode Island State Constables – representing the certified constables who serve Rhode Island’s courts and attorneys – announced its endorsement of Governor Dan McKee for re-election.

“Rhode Island’s certified constables play a vital role in keeping our justice system running, and I’m proud to have earned their support,” said Governor Dan McKee. “I’ve always stood with the men and women who keep Rhode Island safe and our institutions working, and I’ll keep doing exactly that over the next four years. I’m grateful to have the Rhode Island State Constables in our corner.”

Governor McKee is running for re-election to keep putting money back in families’ pockets and standing up to Donald Trump’s efforts to strip away Rhode Islanders’ health care, food assistance, and jobs. Since taking office, he has created over 37,000 private sector jobs and kept Rhode Island building despite national economic uncertainty.

The endorsement adds to the growing coalition supporting Governor McKee, including LIUNA, the Rhode Island Building & Construction Trades Council, the Rhode Island State Association of Fire Fighters, IUPAT Local 195, Iron Workers Local 37, IUEC Local 39, Sheet Metal Workers Local 17, OPCMIA Local 40, RI Council 94 AFSCME, Teamsters Local 251, UFCW Local 328, UNAP, the Rhode Island Federation of Teachers and Health Professionals, NEA Rhode Island, Planned Parenthood Votes!
