A $10 Million ATP Grant for T. F. Green International Airport
U.S. Senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse and U.S. Congressmen Seth Magaziner and Gabe Amo recently announced that Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport was awarded $10 million in federal funding to help modernize PVD’s aging airport terminal infrastructure and help the airport meet current and future air traffic and passenger demands. Improvements to common areas of the airport terminal will take place over the coming years, with the installation of terrazzo flooring expected to begin in 2025. The funding will also improve ADA accessibility throughout the airport and upgrade mechanical systems to meet energy efficiency and smart building goals.
