At an airport event, Neeleman announced the that T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) will become the carrier’s largest airport by capacity and departures, with consistent growth over the next five year. It will surpass Charleston, S.C. as Breeze’s number one airport by the end of this year.

Two years ago, Breeze Airways announced a commitment to grow operations over the following five years with up to 20 nonstop routes, 44 departing flights per week, one West Coast route, six based aircraft, and 200 to 250 jobs. As Breeze Airways celebrates its 3rd anniversary at PVD, the airline has already met or exceeded many of those goals, with six based aircraft, 18 nonstop routes, two western destinations, 120 flights per week, 205 jobs, and 278,000 annual passengers, all in advance of their 2027 goals.

The budget carrier began flying out of Providence three years ago, made Providence a “base” airport last year and now reaches 18 destinations from T.F. Green, including Los Angeles and San Diego.

By 2029 it expects to fly to 35 destinations from PVD, including three foreign countries, according to a new agreement.

The international locations include: Iceland, Ireland, the United Kingdom, France, Portugal, Cape Verde, the Azores, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Costa Rica, Aruba, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and Mexico.

T.F. Green has not had international flights since 2019.

Proposed new destinations in the United States include Seattle, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and Austin.
