PAWTUCKET – The City of Pawtucket is excited to announce the launch of a new, fully online licensing process for businesses and special event permits. This system aims to simplify the application procedure, making it more efficient and accessible for event organizers and businesses alike.
Mayor Donald Grebien emphasized the benefits of the new process, stating, “Moving our licensing process online is a game-changer for the City of Pawtucket. This initiative simplifies and streamlines the application process, enhances transparency and efficiency, and ultimately provides a better experience for our residents and business owners.”
Applicants can now apply for their special event or festival licenses by visiting City of Pawtucket Licensing Portal and selecting the “Special Event/Entertainment License – With or Without Liquor” option. A user account is required to complete the application.
The City Clerk’s Office is available to assist with any questions or support needed at 401-728-0500 Ext. 224 or cityclerk@pawtucketri.gov. Accepted payment methods include credit cards, electronic checks, cash, checks, and money orders.
