Governor Dan McKee Continues to Hold Massive Cash Advantage
With four weeks until the primary, McKee maintains a dominant resource advantage
PROVIDENCE – Governor Dan McKee’s campaign released the following statement in response to new pre-primary fundraising reports that show the governor has a cash-on-hand advantage of approximately $500,000 & $300,000 over his two nearest competitors as the campaign enters the final four weeks:
“Our campaign is entering the final four weeks of this race in an incredibly strong position: leading in the polls, backed by strong support from organized labor, and maintaining a significant resource advantage. These are all indicators that Rhode Islanders recognize the progress that Governor McKee has delivered – drivers aren’t receiving their usual car tax bill; Veterans, seniors and families are looking forward to well-deserved tax relief; and workers are back to work at good-paying jobs,” said Brexton Isaacs, Campaign Manager for Governor Dan McKee. “Governor McKee’s focus has always been moving Rhode Island forward and building an economy that makes our state a great place to live, work, and raise a family. As we enter this last stretch before the primary election, we look forward to continuing to engage with voters in every city and town on the issues that matter to them most – and ask that they join us at the polls on September 13.”
