Governor McKee Served Lunch to Veterans at Event hosted by Operation Stand Down Rhode Island,

Governor Dan McKee and other state officials serve lunch at a veteran assistance event today.

The event hosted by Operation Stand Down Rhode Island, seeks to help veterans in matters which include housing, employment, dental, social and legal services. It is a two day event, Thursday, September 19 (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) and Friday, September 20 (8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.),  This event is hosted at 1010 Hartford Avenue, Johnston

“For over thirty years, we have hosted this event and each year we tailor the event to address the needs of today’s veterans,” OSDRI’s Executive Director Erik Wallin said, “whether the veteran is struggling with unemployment, homelessness or any other issue.”
