Helena Buonanno Foulkes Issues Statement in Response to Governor McKee’s Public Records Denial
PROVIDENCE, RI – In response to news that Governor McKee is refusing to confirm whether his administration has received a subpoena in connection to an ongoing FBI investigation, Democratic candidate for governor Helena Buonanno Foulkes issued the following statement:
“Governor McKee doesn’t need to hide behind legalese or public records law here. He just needs to answer one simple yes or no question for the people of Rhode Island: has his administration been subpoenaed?”
