PROVIDENCE, RI – The Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) is reminding families that All Course Network registration for free summer courses and fall 2023 dual enrollment courses ends on Friday, June 2 at 5:00pm. ACN offers unique extended learning experiences beyond the traditional school day to all Rhode Island students during the summer, fall and spring of the 2023-24 school year. Courses are designed to provide enriching and empowering learning opportunities that help students spark new interests, ideas, and creativity.
“Year-round learning is critical for the success of our students in every grade, and our All Course Network is a free, accessible pathway to continued learning for families in every community,” said Education Commissioner Angélica Infante-Green. “We have dozens of providers statewide offering hundreds of learning opportunities this summer and through the fall – there’s an option for every student.”
Courses take place virtually, in-person, or in a hybrid setting. Credit and non-credit bearing courses are available. Middle and high school students enrolled in ACN can also get a head start on postsecondary success by enrolling in Dual Enrollment, Advanced Placement, Work-based Learning, and Career Credential courses.
Providers include Rhode Island public and private colleges, school districts, and community-based organizations grounded in youth development.
