Elected & Community Leaders To Gather For Groundbreaking Ceremony For New Pawtucket High School On Site Of Former McCoy Stadium

On Thursday, April 10th at 10:00 AM, city and state leaders including Mayor Donald Grebien, Governor Dan McKee, Speaker Joseph Shekarchi, Commissioner of Education Angelica Infante Green, and Acting Pawtucket Superintendent Randy Buck will gather for a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the new Pawtucket High School on the site of the former McCoy Stadium. The $326 million project will create a transformative new 375,000 sq ft learning space for approximately 2,100 high school students. The project team includes owner’s project manager Colliers Project Leaders, construction manager Shawmut Design and Construction, and architect Jonathan Levi Architects.
