Pawtucket Police respond to shooting on Pidge Ave

On 02/01/23, at approximately 6:40 AM, police and rescue responded to 41 Pidge Ave, Apt #2, for a report of a male with a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, officers located a male (32) with what appeared to be two gunshot wounds to his chest.  First aid was rendered on scene and the victim was transported to RI Hospital. A person of interest was located on scene and was taken into custody on unrelated drug charges at this time.

The shooting remains under further investigation.
