R.I. Board of Elections Directs Local Boards of Canvassers to Inform Voters of Candidate Don Carlson Withdrawing from the CD1 Special Election

PROVIDENCE, RI – Upon learning that candidate Don Carlson had withdrawn from the Special Congressional District 1 Race in the Democrat Primary, the Rhode Island Board of Elections notified all communities that are part of Congressional District 1 and directed them to put signage in their early voting booths, and voting booths that will be used in the polling place on Primary Day. The Board also advised the communities to put signage in the entrance to the voting area or near any posters/signage that voters will be reviewing prior to casting their ballots.
