 SOUTHWEST AIRLINES ANNOUNCES NONSTOP ROUTE TO NASHVILLE SIX DAYS A WEEK

The Rhode Island Airport Corporation welcomed recent news that Southwest Airlines will soon launch new, nonstop flights from Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) to Nashville International Airport (BNA.)  The nonstop route begins on April 8, 2025, with nonstop flights available at attractive mid-day arrival and departure times Sundays through Fridays.

Southwest Airlines offered nonstop flights between PVD and Nashville for many years until the route was discontinued in November 2011. Southwest Airlines offers over 160 daily departures to 71 destinations from Nashville and will be able to offer consumers many new connecting opportunities between Rhode Island and the Southeast, Southwest and Western regions of the United States.

 

In addition to the new Nashville flights from PVD, Southwest Airlines will continue providing nonstop service to Denver, CO (DEN), Baltimore (BWI), Orlando (MCO), Washington, DC (DCA), Chicago (MDW) and Tampa (TPA) plus weekend service to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Fort Myers (RSW). The airline will also offer flights to West Palm Beach (PBI) during February.
