Time for Spring Cleaning – Street Sweeping Begins and Yard Waste Collection in the City of Pawtucket
Street sweeping returns to Pawtucket starting March 30th. Street cleaning will occur during the first two recycling weeks of the monthly collection schedule. On-street parking will be prohibited on street cleaning days from 7 AM – 3 PM. Please move your vehicle to avoid towing and fines, and help keep our streets clean. Thank you for your cooperation.

Yard Waste Collection Begins April 6th
Yard waste collection in Pawtucket begins the week of Monday, April 6th, 2026! Place leaf bags or labeled barrels out on your regular trash pickup day. Plastic bags are not allowed. The program runs until December 11, 2026.
