Travel alert: lane restrictions on Newport Pell Bridge
The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority today released details about scheduled lane closures on the Newport Pell Bridge.
- On Thursday September 21, 2023, traffic traveling westbound will be limited to one lane beginning at 7am and eastbound travel will be limited to one lane beginning at 9 am.
- The work will last for approximately two weeks during which some lane restrictions on only the eastbound side may be required.
