Governor McKee Swear In 5 Judicial Candidates
PROVIDENCE, RI – Governor Dan McKee will host separate ceremonies to swear in five judicial candidates to fill vacancies on the Superior Court, Family Court, District Court, and Workers’ Compensation Court. The candidates, appointed by the Governor in November, were approved by the Senate last week.
The candidates sworn in today were the following:
Associate Justice of the RI Family Court, Jeanine Perella McConaghy
Associate Justice of the RI Family Court, Shilpa Naik
Associate Justice of the RI Superior Court, Kevin F. McHugh
Associate Judge of the RI District Court, William J. Trezvant
Associate Judge of the RI Workers’ Compensation Court, George J. Lazieh
This took place today at noon at the State House.
