Lifeguard Candidates for Pawtucket Parks and Recreation

The Pawtucket Parks and Recreation Division is seeking candidates to be lifeguards at the Veterans Park pool this summer from July 2 to August 21. Cash incentives are available for those who complete a full season as a lifeguard in the City of Pawtucket.
This position requires certification and special training in First Aid, CPR and Lifesaving (surfing is not accepted) which must be maintained throughout the season as a condition of employment.
Lifeguard applicants must have current training cards or training certificates at the time of the appointment.
Salary is $17/hour
Candidate must be 16 years of age or older;
Ability to work 20 to 36 hours per week.
Pool hours range from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. m. and 6 p.m. m.
The pool is open 7 days a week, therefore the candidate will be scheduled to work weekends and weekdays.
