PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Lieutenant Governor Sabina Matos today released her newest TV ad about her record and experience fighting for reproductive rights in Rhode Island and why pro-choice groups such as EMILYs List and Elect Democratic Women trust her to continue that fight in Congress.

The ad, titled “Daughters,” features Sabina’s daughter, Annemarie and why this work is so personal. The relentless attacks on reproductive freedom could result in a future where Annemarie and millions like her, have fewer rights than older generations.

“Throughout my over a decade in public service, I’ve made fighting for reproductive freedom a priority,” said Lt. Governor Sabina Matos. “Our freedoms are under attack. My daughter, Annemarie, could have fewer rights than I did. I won’t allow it – and that’s why I fought hard to protect abortion rights and expand reproductive health care here in Rhode Island. I’m honored to have earned the trust of pro-choice groups like EMILYs List and Elect Democratic Women who know that I’m the strongest candidate to continue this fight in Congress.”
