Pawtucket’s First Two Watch Parties Celebrated Our Community!
The City of Pawtucket’s Summer of Celebration is off to an exciting start, with hundreds of residents and visitors gathering for our first two international soccer tournament Watch Parties.
Fans gathered to support Team USA in its opening match against Paraguay, and later returned to cheer for Cape Verde versus Spain. The Watch Parties highlighted the incredible diversity and community spirit that make Pawtucket such a special place. Families, friends, neighbors, and visitors enjoyed great food, entertainment, and the opportunity to celebrate the world’s game together.
We are grateful to the local restaurants, vendors, performers, sponsors, and community partners who helped make these events a success. Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us and brought such energy and enthusiasm to each event.
The Summer of Celebration continues with more Watch Parties in the weeks ahead: Colombia vs. Portugal on June 27th and the Tournament Final on July 19th – See flyers below for additional details.
We invite everyone to come out, wear your team colors, support local businesses, and join us as we continue celebrating soccer, culture, and community right here in Pawtucket.
