Providence Fire Department to Celebrate Graduation of 17 New Firefighters from 58th Training Academy
The Providence Fire Department, joined by Mayor Brett Smiley, will hold its 58th Entry-Level Training Academy Graduation Ceremony this morning at 9:30 a.m. at Bishop McVinney Auditorium. Seventeen recruits are expected to graduate after successfully completing the department’s entry-level training program.
Mayor Brett Smiley and Fire Chief Derek Silva will join department members, graduates, and their families to recognize the accomplishments of the academy class and celebrate the beginning of the recruits’ careers in public service.
