Due to inclement weather, the Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) in Johnston and Cumberland for residents affected by the September storms will close tomorrow, Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Depending on the weather, the Centers should resume normal operating hours on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Residents do not need to visit a DRC to apply for FEMA assistance or to follow up on individual cases. Applicants can apply or verify their applications online at DisasterAssistance.gov. This can also be done by calling the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362.

FEMA offers help in many languages through our helpline. If you use a relay service, such as video relay service (VRS), captioned telephone service, or others, provide FEMA with your number for that service when you apply.
DRC locations can be found on the FEMA Disaster Recovery Center Locator.
