RIPTA Postpones Public Hearings Scheduled for February 13, 2024, Due to Winter Storm

Pawtucket Public Hearing Rescheduled for Tuesday, February 20, 2024

Providence, Rhode Island, February 12, 2024… The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) announced that public hearings in Pawtucket scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, February 13, 2024, have been postponed due to the impending winter storm. The hearing has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 5:30pm at the Blackstone Valley Visitor Center. RIPTA will begin holding public hearings today in all five Rhode Island counties on proposed service changes due to its critical driver shortage.
