PAWTUCKET, RI — The Pawtucket Parks & Recreation Division has announced the “Fright Night in the Park” event schedule taking place at Slater Memorial Park in Pawtucket, RI.

The Haunted Tunnel attraction will take place on Friday and Saturday evenings from October 8 and will continue through Saturday, October 29 at the Daggett Farm facility within the Park.  Doors for the Tunnel attraction open at 6:30 p.m. and close by 8:30 p.m.  The cost for the Tunnel is $ 10 per person, regardless of age. Group discounts or refunds are not offered.  Because of its scary content, the Tunnel is strongly recommended for ages 12 and above only.

Adjacent to the carousel and under the Slater Park Pavilion, is the “family-friendly” “Pumpkins in the Park” event displayed with jack-o-lanterns, a witch’s house and other surprises.  This attraction takes place on Friday and Saturday evenings, from October 8 and continues through Saturday, October 29 from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.  Admission is $5 per person, 12 years of age or older.  Children 12 and under receive free admission.

All attractions accept cash only.

The carousel will also be open at night in conjunction with the Halloween attractions.  The hours of operation on Friday evenings are 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., on Saturdays from 11 a.m. through 8 p.m. and on Sundays, 11 a.m. through 5 p.m., weather permitting.

Events will not take place during periods of inclement weather. Event cancellations will be noted on the “Pawtucket Parks & Recreation” and the “Slater Park Haunted Tunnel” Facebook pages.
