VINEYARD WIND HOSTS CAREER FAIR IN NEW BEDFORD

NEARLY 40 COMPANIES AND ORGANIZATIONS LOOKING TO FILL HUNDREDS OF JOBS WILL BE IN ATTENDANCE

EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING ORGANIZATIONS WILL ALSO BE ON SITE

(NEW BEDFORD, MA) – On Thursday, January 12, Vineyard Wind, a joint venture between AVANGRID, Inc. (NYSE: AGR) and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), together with the New Bedford Parks, Recreation and Beaches Department and the New Bedford Ocean Cluster, will host a career fair in New Bedford, MA.  The offshore wind industry is ramping up and as a result nearly 40 companies and organizations will be in attendance looking to fill hundreds of positions.

Childcare is available on site, as well as the Trinity Day Academy food truck with free snacks while supplies last and promotional giveaways.

Open positions include: electricians, welders, pipe fitters, mechanics, fabricators, carpenters, painters, laborers, technicians, marine life observers, GIS analysts, deck hands, mates, captains, safety managers, equipment operators, project managers and many others.
