Whitehouse Applauds Environmental Protection Agency’s Proposed Federal Vehicle Emissions Standards

Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) today applauded the new federal vehicle emissions standards proposed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

“If we want to tackle the climate crisis while there is still time, we must act with urgency,” said Whitehouse.  “I applaud the Biden-Harris administration for proposing ambitious pollution standards that accelerate our transition to clean vehicles and mark a significant step in our fight against the climate crisis.”
